It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward John Grafius (East Lansing, Michigan), born in Brookings, South Dakota, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Edward Grafius and Helen Marie Grafius (Peterson); and his daughter Kristin Joy Grafius. He is survived by : his wife Ellen Kay Grafius (Baumgartner); his sister Joan Marie Cooper (late Kirby Alan Cooper); his sons, Brandon Reece Grafius (Kate Elizabeth Simon) and Darren Robert Grafius (Iain Stuart Mason); and his grandchildren, Fenton and Reece Grafius.

In lieu of flowers, family asks for donations to be made in Ed's name to either the MSU Department of Entomology or Edgewood United Church.
