It is with sadness that the passing of Eldon Lee Wood Jr. (East Lansing, Michigan) is shared. Eldon, born on July 17, 1954 in Lansing, Michigan, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Eldon will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Eldon by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Eldon is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Eldon’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Lee Wood, Sr. and Lorraine Wood; and his siblings, Rick Wood and Leilani Wood Fogg. He is survived by: his siblings, Lehua Beamon, Ronald Lona Wood, Steven Wood (Terri) and Andrew Wood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes (1730 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the DeepDale Memorial Gardens (4108 Old Lansing Rd, Lansing, MI 48917).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Capital Area Humane Society or charity of your choice.
