She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Brody. She is survived by: her children, Laura (David Weaver), Steven (Brenda Grossman), Debra (Joseph Ruby) and Elizabeth (John Berlind). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Donations in Ethel's memory may be made to the East Lansing Public Library or Planned Parenthood of Michigan.
