We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2022, at the age of 80, James Edward Brogan of East Lansing, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joe Brogan and Winifred Brogan (Hughes); his sister Mary Brogan Seymour; his wife Sara Stanford; his children, Joseph Brogan, Lorraine Brogan (Joe Dundas), Christina Davis (Wade) and Benjamin Byland (Marni Papadopoulos); his siblings, Dr. Patricia Hamilton (Brogan), Margaret Brogan (Peggy) and John Brogan; his grandchildren, Emmeline, Jessalyn, Jim, Zoey, Mick, Esme, Bridgid, Jack, Gus and Collette; his great grandchild Rosalie; his brother-in-law Robert Stanford (Deb); and his former life partner Brenda Crummer (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, Jim's desired charity was one that provided meals for local children. Contributions may be made to the Greater Lansing Food Bank (http://greaterlansingfoodbank.org).
