It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Howard Southwick of East Lansing, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Wayne Alden and Gladis Marguerite Southwick; his sister Jackie Garson; his children, Heather Ann Southwick and Mychael John Southwick; and his friends, Bob Mead and Ralph E. Locke.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Bruinekool Southwick of East Lansing; his brother Charles Wayne Southwick of Albion; his former life partner Janette Lynn Mead; his stepdaughters, Camille A., Amanda M. and Denise N. Bruinekool; his grandsons, Connor Bullinger, Reid Bullinger and Cole Southwick; his stepgrandsons, Cameron T. Farrell and Cayden M. McAdory; his close friends, Jack, Ardie Caudill, John Mike and Paula; and also Jeffery Wayne Southwick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the Springport Sports Boosters or SAFE (Springport Area Foundation for Education).
