It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha J. Muth of East Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schwartz and Pauline Schwartz (Rickly); her husband Thomas Muth, Sr.; and her brothers, Joseph Schwartz and Jerome Schwartz.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Muth (Tyler Spencer) and Thomas Muth, Jr. (Ellen); her granddaughters, Ramona Spencer, Tabitha Spencer, Elise Muth and Cecilia Muth; her siblings, Judith Ryan (John), Susan Saeger (Jack), Nancy Clifford (Pat), Barbara Morgan (Tim), John Schwartz (Martha) and Richard Schwartz; and her sister-in-law Denise Schwartz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence.
