The passing of Sally Jo Dean (East Lansing, Michigan) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 4, 2026 at the age of 89. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Dean; her parents, Ivan Craft and Edith Craft; her siblings, Haven Craft and Janet Bishop; her brother-in-law Frank Bishop; her stepson Bert Dean; and her former husband William Hutcheson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Anson (Joseph); her stepchildren, Paul Dean (Laura) and Alma Jo VanWinkle; and her stepdaughter-in-law Kathy Dean. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home East Lansing Chapel (1730 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823).
