It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Schubert of East Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Kuney and Blanche Kuney (Cooper); her husband Gary Schubert; her son William Schubert; her grandson Justin Schubert; and her siblings, Janet Driscoll and Robert Kuney.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Schubert (Carol), Rochelle Schubert (Scott Mills) and Angela Lentz (Chris Daggy); and her grandchildren, Nikki Wetherald (Chad), Nathan Schubert (Sabrina), Kyle Mills (Natalie), Whitney Cichocki (Cameron) and Emily Lentz (Brian Seward). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Shirley's memory may be given to The Willows of East Lansing Activities Fund, The Dementia Society of America, or the American Diabetes Association.
