She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stockton and Beth Stockton (Gaines); and her sister-in-law Joyce Stockton. She is survived by: her children, Kara Spencer and Matt Spencer; her granddaughter Katie Matlock (Bryan Fongers); and her siblings, Will Stockton, Kathy Stockton-Behnke (Dan Behnke) and Margaret Stockton.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Peoples Church (200 W Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Peoples Church, designated for the renovation of the choir loft and the expansion of its accessibility.
