It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence E. Pokropowicz of Eastpointe, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pokropowicz and Annette Pokropowicz; his wife Judy Vitali; and his siblings, Richard Pokropowicz (late Rose Marie) and Dolores Garavaglia (late Louis).
He is survived by: his children, Karen Sacharski (Larry) and Lawrence Pokropowicz (Gail); and his grandchildren, Joe Sacharski (Sarah Smith), Kelly Sacharski (Ryan Masica), Megan, Emily and Matthew Pokropowicz. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
He spent most of his adult life donating blood whenever he was able to. He was proud to be able to donate and often times was able to give large amounts in the hopes he was selflessly helping others in need.
