He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Coats and Dorothy Coats (Malburg); and his brothers-in-law, Linton Davidson and Scott Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Reva Coats; his children, Katie Edgington (Dustin) and Michael Upchurch (Jackie Kelley); his grandchildren, Dustin Edgington II, Tyler McCarrick (Lexie), Ashley Edgington and Mikayla Edgington; his siblings, Arlene Davidson and James Coats (Pixie); and his nieces and nephews, Eric Davidson (Julie), Heather Williamson (Marty), Todd Davidson (Renae), Cade Coats (Laura), Michael Coats (Andrea) and Brandon Coats (Courtney). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Charities.
