It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Davenport of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to John's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John has bequeathed us. He is survived by: his parents, LaVerne Davenport and Mary Jane Davenport (Pede); his children, Travis Beau Davenport and Eliza Opal Davenport; his siblings, Sylvia (TJ), Daniel Davenport (Elizabeth) and Jennifer Davenport; and his siblings' children, Sophia, Abigail, David, Leo and Logan Davenport. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012). A reception will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at 800 Industrial Rd, Marshall, MI 49068.
