With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeraldine Buchanan of Ecorse, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Lee and Ruby Lee (Pugh); her husband Charles Buchanan; and her grandchild Jerry Pearce (late Lynda). She is survived by: her children, Charles Buchanan, Daniel Buchanan, Mary Pearce and Stephen Buchanan; and her grandchildren, Daniel Pearce (Sandra), Naiche Bray (Nicole), Jeremiah Bray, Cassie Sobczynski (Christian), Stephen Buchanan (Carissa) and Eric Buchanan (Hannah).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Solosy Funeral Home (3206 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Ferndale Cemetery (14732 Sibley Rd, Riverview, MI 48193).
