In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse McConnell and Emily McConnell (Hines); and his children, Larie, Leta and Stuart.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Chapman; and his children, Sheldon McConnell (Julie) of Elwell, Lynette Schneider (David) of Brethren, Brian McConnell (Julie) of Indiana and Christopher McConnell (Joanne) of Alma. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brigham Funeral Chapel (413 E Gilson St, Edmore, MI 48829). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tabernacle Family Ministries (11098 E Howard City-Edmore, Riverdale, MI 48877).
