With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Albert Russell of Elk Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank Albert Russell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Norvel Russell and Mable Russell (Lewis); his sister Mary Ellen Gotts; his mother-in-law Mary Louise Plough; and his close friend Charlie Mordon.
He is survived by: his children, Randy W Russell (Amy Knust) and Ronda M Russell-Yanski (Tracy Yanski); his wife Diane J Plough; his children, Amy and Tracy; and his pet Kitty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the Munson Hospice House or to Cherryland Humane Society.
