He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Orin and Bessie Herrick Acre (Woods); his brother Dan Acre; his cousins, Violet Levey, Howard Kimball and Bonnie Kimball; and his close friend Herm Kaufman.
He is survived by: his brother Dean Acre (Ronda) of Elsie, MI; and his sibling's children, Michael Watson (Kristi McDevitt) of Oxford, MI, Corey Acre of Elsie, MI, Ryan Acre (Jamie) of Elsie, MI, Hope Watson of Oxford, MI and Holly Watson of Oxford, MI..
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (221 E Main St, Elsie, MI 48831). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery.
