It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald William Lloyd of Elsie, Michigan, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald S. Lloyd and Edith Lloyd (Barnes); his daughter Lisa Ann Lloyd; his parents-in-law, Alton and Claudia Howard; and his brother-in-law David Darling.
He is survived by: his wife Rosella Lloyd of Elsie, MI; his daughters, Tina (Phil Collins) and Jennifer (Kyle Thornton); his grandchildren, Benjamin Collins, Kathryn and Brooklyn Thornton; his sister Donna (James Freeland); and his sister-in-law Regene Darling of Elsie, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (221 E Main St, Elsie, MI 48831). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (5800 N Chipman Rd, Owosso, MI 48867).
Memorials may be made to the Elsie Area Fire Department or Elsie United Methodist Church.
