She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Newton and Ellen Newton; her husband Clair Kessler; her daughter Jan Kessler; and her siblings, Shirley McCullar and James Newton.
She is survived by: her children, William Kessler (Kay), Deborah Flanigan (Louis), David Kessler (Cheryl), Robert Kessler, Thomas Kessler (Kris) and Michael Kessler (Richard Montgomery). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Memorial - Smith Chapel (1525 Hancock St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
