He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellis and Geraldine Ellis; his brother Gary; his grandson Jaxson Putze; his father-in-law John Shannon; and his sisters-in-law, Justine Shannon and Mary Ellen Shannon (Koon).
He is survived by: his wife Deona Shannon; his children, Brian, Kevin (Brooke) and Caitlin Turner (Andrew); his grandson Brady Putze; his sisters, Cindy Kammer (Bob) and Lisa Stiles (Lee); his mother-in-law Beverly Shannon; his brothers-in-law, John Shannon and Donald Shannon (Lisa); and his aunts, Patricia Wingate (Lyle) and Betty Kritz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors - Yale (10 S Main St, Yale, MI 48097). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
