He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Smith (Keeney); and his brother Mark. He is survived by: his father Wilbur Smith; his wife Sandra L. Groesbeck; his sons, Raymond Smith and Kurt Smith; his sisters, Ann Mercandetti and Martha Lee Hall (Tony); and his grandchildren, Ava Elizabeth Smith and Elijah Keenan Smith.
