Carolyn Kay Johnson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Kay Johnson (Erie, Michigan), born in Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on October 30, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Wintrow and Esther Wintrow (Speidel). She is survived by: her husband George Johnson; her children, Kirk Young, Shawna Mader, Amy Malus and Angela Bomia; and her sister Lavon Kolling. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Trinity Lutheran Church, Monroe Michigan.
