With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklyn Olmstead of Erie, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin E. Olmstead and Gwendolyn C. Olmstead (Bridling); his wife Sharon Pawlak; and his sister Judith Carter. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Barnes (Mark), Shari Browder (David) and Mindi Morrison (Alan); and his grandchildren, Hayley Winkelman (Kyle Cureton), Allison Santus (Chance) and Michael Browder (Amy). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
