He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Frances Amer; and his son Christopher Charles Blade. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Cope (Jon Smith) and Michael T. Blade; his grandchildren, Amber (Tyler), Christopher Jr. (Madison), Jacob Allen, Michael, Jacob Frances, Caleb, Emily, Abigail, Logan, Morgen, Regan and Brenna; his great grandchildren, Landon, Theodore and Remington; his sisters, Patricia Shenofsky (Ron), Janet Slates and Mary Jean Amer (Rick McLaughlin); his cousin Dave Amer (Rudi); and his daughter-in-law Natalie Solomon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
