Sharon Currie Obituary
We announce the death of Sharon Currie of Erie, Michigan, who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 85. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dowswell and Loretta Dowswell (Steinfurth); her husband William R. Currie, Sr.; her son William R. Currie, Jr.; and her sons-in-law, Keith Walters and Joseph Giarmo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Walters and Kimberly Giarmo; and her grandchildren, Krysta Telycenas, Laura Lamkin, Tyler Reeves, Sarah Russo, Sara Lewandowski, Brian Walters, Scott Walters and Joseph Giarmo, Jr.. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and many extended family members, and dear friends.
Memorial contributions in Sharon's memory are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
