It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Joy Kuivinen of Escanaba, Michigan, born in Ishpeming, Michigan, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Langsford Collins and Evelyn Collins (Olds). She is survived by : her husband Edward William Kuivinen of Escanaba; her children, Edward Toivo "Toby" Kuivinen (Tammy) of Escanaba, Brenda Leigh Thompson (Lynn) of Oakview, CA and Sharon Lynn Tapani (Kevin) of Wayzata, MN; her grandchildren, Sarah Lahrman (Bryce), Ryan Tapani and Lukas Tapani; her siblings, Karen Jean Dennis (Al) and Jack Collins (Debbie); and her great grandchildren, Henry and Bennett.
