She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayward Swisher and Opal Swisher (Jarvis); and her brother David. She is survived by: her children, James Chouinard (Behl) of Oklahoma City, OK, Seth Chouinard (Joanne) of Cornell, Justin Chouinard (Katie) of Iron Mountain, Stacy Pinar (Tony) of Cornell and Dominique Veeser (Chris) of Cornell; her grandchildren, Gade, Shaynah, Asher, Elijah, Aubrey, Evan, Shannon, Tanner, Annabelle, Julianne, Lola, Beckett, Chase, Alyssa, Hannah and Preston; and her brother Mark Swisher of Virginia. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home - Escanaba (302 13th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family, c/o Stacy Pinar, and a memorial will be established at a later date.
