With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Rochefort of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on December 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Birchmeier and Olive Birchmeier (Schuster); her spouse Cletus Rochefort of Michael's Church; and her siblings, Janet Wenzick, Ray Birchmeier, Eileen Bishop, Dorothy Kolik, Mary Meter, Helen Pete, Gerald, Philinus and Dale.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Powers, Kristine Wood (Vern) and Larry Rochefort; her grandchildren, Shawn and Justin Powers; and her sister Joyce Starland (Jerry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
