Cathy Provo Obituary
We announce the death of Cathy Provo of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 82. Cathy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Swed and Anna Swed; her husband Ronald Provo; and her siblings, John, Leonard Swed, Linnea Kasen and Amelia Malloy.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hopkins (Jamie) of New London, Ronald Provo (Laura) of Novi, MI, Laurie Hill of Keota, IA, John Provo (Melissa) of Granbury, TX and Elizabeth Schwandt (Provo); and her pet Molly. She is also survived by 12 Grand Children and 19 Great Grand Children.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829).
