He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pietruck of Escanaba; his children, Chris Dowling, Michelle Lingaur (Dale), Robert Dowling (Andrea), Karen Iler (Ken), Donna Dowling and Mark Dowling; his grandchildren, Kurtis, Jacob, Chad, Isabel, Emma, Jessy, Philipp, Alicia, Grace, Kelsey and Michael; and his siblings, Bill Dowling (Kay), Paul Dowling (Lucy), Tom Dowling (Debbie) and Joanne Sturm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home - Escanaba (302 13th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
