She was predeceased by : her parents, George Schlicher and Karoline Schlicher; her daughter Deborah Ann; her sister Liesel Powell; her brothers-in-law, Ken Viau, Bill Viau and Amos Reynolds; her nephew Mike Viau; and also, Dona and Cecilia Viau.
She is survived by : her husband Donald J. Viau; her sons, Greg Viau (Roberta) of Norton Shores, MI and Tom Viau (Theresa) of Henderson, NV; her grandchildren, Sara Viau, Evan Viau (Laine), Monique Viau and Katelyn Viau; her sister Irene Reynolds of Fair Oaks, CA; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Sharkey (Richard), Nancy Viau and Jean Viau. She is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
