He was predeceased by : his parents, William R. LeClaire and Laura E. Seymour; his daughter Katlyn Marie; his stepfather Claude Mead; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond LaFreniere and Bryan Trombley.

He is survived by : his children, Sabrina and Darrin Jr. LeClaire of Escanaba; his grandson Braxton LeClaire; his siblings, Laurie LaFreniere, Merri Trombley and Kevin LeClaire (Tuesday DeGraves); and his nephew Jacob LaFreniere (Amber). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
