As David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Johnson and Joan Johnson (Kositzky). He is survived by: his children, Jason Johnson (Courtney) of Escanaba, Ashley Haffley (Adam) of Appleton, WI and Katie Venturino (John) of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, Adalyn and Jacob Haffley; his sister Carol Pellegrini (Stephen) of Escanaba; and his sibling's children, Nicholas Pellegrini (Jenilee) and Traci Busick (Michael).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
