It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Schmieder of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Schmieder to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her son Michael. She is survived by : her children, Marie Ottensman-Pultz (Gary Pultz) of Littleton, CO, Michelle Ottensman of Gladstone and David Ottensman of Colorado; her grandchildren, Natalie, Melanie, Chelsey, Cody and Jayson; and her brother Wayne Berthaume of Escanaba. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home - Escanaba (302 13th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Delta County Cancer Alliance.
