He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Williams and Patricia Williams (Ring); his son Gary Johnson Williams; his grandson Nelson Charles Williams; and his siblings, Rick, Robert, Carl, Dale, Dan and Sally.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Carlisle; his children, Tammy Doneau (Brian), Tonya Todd (Gordon), Daymond Williams, Theresa Brown (Bill), Duaine Williams, Jr. (Michelle), Ortis, Sr., Grace Alltop (Roy Jr.) and Heather Beilby (Edward Fleming, Sr.); his grandchildren, LaRae, Holly, Courtney, Morgan, Sophia, Andrew, Cassandra, Nicklas, Steven, Hailey, Duaine III, Ortis Jr., Shawn, Vlad, Amera, Hailei, Rhett, Gunner, Odette, Soren, Eros, Zion, Edward Jr. and Roy III; and his sisters, Donna Pach, Sharon Johnson (Jim) and Susie Williams. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Fernwood Cemetery.
