Brown of Escanaba, Michigan, born in Trenton, New Jersey, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wyman E. Nelson and Melba O. Nelson (Smith); her former life partner Richard Bromm; her husband Robert Brown; and her siblings, Lois Schmeichel and Charles Nelson.

She is survived by : her son Patrick Brown of Gladstone; her grandchildren, Xander Brown and Brooke Brown; and her siblings, Carolyn Johnston (Glen) and Richard Nelson.
