She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred LaChapelle and Bertha LaChapelle; her husband Irving C. Houle; her son Matthew; and her brother Glen.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Houle (Peggy) of Escanaba, Peter Houle (Mark) of Phoenix, AZ, John Houle (Lori) of Escanaba and Margo Rout (Brian) of Columbus, IN; her daughter-in-law Sally Houle of Gladstone; and her grandchildren, Jodi Ray of Bark River, Jennifer Stark of Hope, IN, Jared Houle of Escanaba, Stephanie Rust of Columbus, IN, Jerilyn Houle of Escanaba, Jason Houle of Marquette, MI and Ian Houle of Gladstone. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
