George Netchey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Netchey (Escanaba, Michigan), who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Netchey (Blonar) and Kenneth A. Netchey; and his brother Kenneth A Netchey II. He is survived by: his wife Helen "Peg" Pickard (Peg); his children, Anya Sutherland (Ric) and Mikhail; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Kaitlyn Collard and Ezra Netchey; his brother Jack Netchey; and his siblings-in-law, Eloise, Campbell Moore, Karen, John Pickard and Kenneth M. Pickard. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family who plan to honor George through the Brampton Township Fire Department.
