He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Hoier and Alice Hoier (Eickoff); and his brothers-in-law, Donald Ekern, Larry Mason, Thomas Mason, Jr., Terry Mason, Bobby Mason, Rod Lindberg and Rick Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife LeDonna Mason; his children, Jeff Hoier, Sr. and Michelle Richer (Jay); his grandchildren, Jeff Hoier, Jr., Caylan Trudell (Brian), Christopher Richer and Kyley Hoier; and his pet Sadie.
