He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Sachinski (Weinandt) and Joseph Sachinski. He is survived by: his wife Carol Wilmers; his daughters, Maria Eastman (Greg) of Green Bay, Kristina Karkkainen (Tom) of Fleming Island and Kelly Garland (Heath) of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Gunnar Eastman, Gabe Eastman, Gus Eastman (Kiersten), Kaisa Karkkainen, Evelyn Karkkainen, Tommy Karkkainen, Landon Garland and Kellan Garland; his great grandchild Brody Eastman; and his sister Rosemary Wiss (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (2200 Ludington St, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (6596 N 3rd St, Wells, MI 49894).
