She was predeceased by : her parents, William Taipalus and Mamie Taipalus (Waisanen); her husband Jay E. Kotcher; and her siblings, Ruth Kuhn (Charles), Dorothy Jarvey (Howard), Joyce Nelson (August), Carol Taipalus, Robert (Shirley), Edward (Joyce) and William Taipalus.
She is survived by : her daughter Kimberly Gartland (Steven); her granddaughters, Samantha Ewen and Amanda Gatiss (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Aylah Ericksen, Ahlina Moras and George Gatiss; and her sister Gloria Klerx (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
