He was predeceased by: his parents, Gillard Pearson and Elizabeth Pearson (Grunditz); his brothers-in-law, Howard (Joanne), Delmar (Trudi), Doug (Sharon) and Neil; and his stepdaughter Jennifer Corwin.
He is survived by: his wife Jenny Pearson (Kievit) of Escanaba; his sons, Robert, Ron, Glen Pearson (Jamie), Michael (Jeni) and Steve Corwin (Susan); and his sister Joanne Erickson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
