John Jaeger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Jaeger of Escanaba, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jaeger and Rose Jaeger (Steinmetz); his siblings, Joanne Latva and Ronald Jaeger; his son-in-law Brian Wasilew; and his brother-in-law Howie Latva.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Sheedlo; his children, Julie Miller (Kurt) of Oconomowoc, John Jaeger (Stephanie) of Des Moines, Jeanne Richards of Oconomowoc, Jane Fruth (Terry) of Freeport and Jennifer Wasilew (Joel Postma) of Ada, Michigan; his grandchildren, Ryan Rossi, Kyle Rossi, Tony Rossi, Johnny Jaeger, Jared Jaeger, Jillian Jaeger, John Tyler Richards, Coulson Richards, Katharine Richards, Lauren Fruth, Morgan Wasilew, Madeline Wasilew and Maximus Wasilew; and his sister-in-law Verna Jaeger. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to The John and Maxine Jaeger Scholarship Fund at Bay de Noc Community College in John's memory.
