With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon R. Flath of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jon. Though Jon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Warren Flath (Jeanette), Shirley Shomin and Harold Flath (Trudy). He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Flath; his children, Matthew Flath (Kristi), Kristin Lord (David) and Mark Flath; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Andrew Lord and Sophia Flath. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
