It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Royal Valiquette of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Valiquette and Rita Valiquette (Lauzon); his in-laws, David and Therese Germain (Dufour); his siblings, Lana Diviley, Barbara Schram and Dennis Porath; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Schram, Kenneth Waller, Dale Germain, Darrell Germain and Steve Germain.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Germain; his children, Lori Emmes (Valiquette), Robert Valiquette (Lisa), Larry II Valiquette (Danielle), Ryan Valiquette (Marcy), Elisabeth Valiquette and Brandon Valiquette (Elise); his grandchildren, Alex (Becca), Nicholas (Sierra), Anna, Adilynn, Sophia, Aria, Van, Jasper, Colson, Kai, Harper and Declan; his great grandchild Cooper; his sisters, Yvonne Waller, Kathleen Porath, Diane Hooper (Terry), Nancy Porath (Allen), Katherine Beatty, Caroline Thoune (Charles), Margaret Reiffers (James), Mary Bintner (Mike) and Lori Ann Dubord (Richard); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Germain (Diane), Tim Germain (Karen) and Joe Germain (Michelle). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
