He was predeceased by: his grandson Devin Fisher; his brother-in-law Cory Johnson; and his nephew Todd Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Smith (Desilets); his children, Clinton Smith of Escanaba, JuliAnn McKeage (Patrick) of Escanaba, Craig Smith of Escanaba and Jamie Fisher (Josh) of Carney; his grandchildren, Ariah Fisher, Averyanna Fisher, Dallin Fisher, Liam McKeage, Logan McKeage, Peyton McKeage, Caden Smith, AnnaBella McKeage and Karter Smith; his great grandchildren, Alahnya Larson (Fisher) and Amihya Larson (Fisher); his sisters, Sharon Johnson, Charlene Scheeneman (LeRoy) and Parma Martineau (Donald); and his siblings' children, Toni Mendina, Traci Millette, Terry Lancour, Micky Lamarch, Tony Martineau, Crissy Strom, Becky Griebel, Timmy Martineau, LeeAnn Peterson and Brian Sheeneman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home - Escanaba (302 13th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his wife, Donna Smith.
