It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Malinowski-Karaga of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Agnes Meshigaud and Adam Malinowski Sr.; and her aunt Rhonda Swisher. She is survived by: her children, Leia Williams, Laniceya Malinowski, Alex "Amani" Sagataw, Lucas Sagataw, Liana Malinowski, Araceli Sagataw and Deja Seymour; her grandson Ozzie Smith; her siblings, Jimmy Karaga (Michelle), Matthew Karaga (Rachel), Kristen Mercier, Rochelle Karaga, Veroncia Williams, Greg Williams Jr. Jena Mercier, Marvin Mercier, Victoria Steinhausen (Jacob) and Tyler Williams; her parents, Debra Olson (Dave) and Saied Karaga; her stepfathers, Greg Williams Sr. and Marvin Mercier; her uncles, Adam Malinowski Jr. and Brian Malinowski (Delores); and her aunt Tina Burns (Darrin).
