She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Virginia Johnson (Ciecierski); her husband Andrew Gavlek; and her brother George Johnson (Eleanor). She is survived by: her children, Andrew Gavlek (Mary) of Escanaba, Thomas Gavlek of Meriban, Diane Gavlek Ferree (Brent) of Waterford, Catherine Gavlek of Clayton and Nancy Gavlek of Escanaba. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be directed to the Holy Name Scholarship Fund.
