She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Guenette and Rubia Guenette (Savoie); her former husband Clifford Chouinard; her husband Robert MaKosky; her siblings, Alice, Lucien, Albert, Jane, Albertine, Leo, Isadore, Ernest, Theodore, Oscar, Gerald, Theresa, Marie and Joseph; and her daughters-in-law, Judy Chouinard and Christine Chouinard.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Chouinard, Pamela Schmidt, Wendy Kobasic (Robert) of Escanaba, MI, Dale Chouinard of Cantwell, AK and Gina Erickson (Keith) of Gladstone, MI; her stepson Roy MaKosky (Glenna) of Rochester, MN; and her granddaughter Amber Gallagher. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home - Escanaba (302 13th St S, Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Highland Golf Club (3011 U. S. Rte 2, Escanaba, MI 49829).
