It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Carlson of Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Judson and Gertrude Judson (Morey); her grandchildren, Amy Jo Johnson and Gage Ruelle-Wills; and her brothers, T. Marshall, Robert and David Judson.
She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Karen Carlson and Earl Carlson (Kelly); her grandchildren, Jamie Ruelle, Kim Laplant (Jason) and Jim Ruelle; her great grandchildren, Austin, Alexis Wills, Gary Ruelle, Abby, Autumn Laplant and Amayiah Labuwi; and her sisters-in-law, Madeline and Beatrice Judson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and other beloved members of the family.
