She was predeceased by : her parents, James VanEffen and Mary VanEffen (McMonagle); her husband Oscar J. Larsen; her siblings, James VanEffen (Marge), William VanEffen (Elaine), Richard VanEffen, Eileen Anderson (Art) and Helen Nolde (Ray); her son-in-law George L. Briere; and her grandson Max Larsen.
She is survived by : her children, Karen Tratt (Terry) of Kalamazoo, James Larsen of Escanaba, Mary Briere of Bark River and Jane Pratt (James) of Escanaba; her grandchildren, Stephanie Jones (Chris), Michael, Christopher Tratt, Rachel, Jed, Ben Larsen, Erin Davis (Jason), Kevin Briere (Greta), George P. Briere (Merissa), Brittany and Brianna Pratt; her great grandchildren, Elyse Jones, Kaiya, Caleb, Cole Davis, Aleksi, Benjamin Briere, Gianna, Axel and Roc Briere; and her brother-in-law Glen Larsen (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
